"I believe it might be a little too late for this, but I wished to apologize for what has happened... despite the wayward laws that were set up by the leaders before me, it gave me no pleasure to have to watch my own son leave for the simple act of falling in love with someone. I know your anger for the village, and it's why you were sent away so you wouldn't have to be tied to those customs anymore... your finally happy now, aren't you, Espio?" His eyes widened, before returning to normal, a slight smile coming to his face as he glanced sideways at the honey bee. "Yeah... I really am. Charmy... he means everything to me. Hugging back, he slowly reached a hand up and gently pressed it to the bee's cheek. Leaving it there, he turned back to face the elder. "Father...
