The Sheikah's Apprentice [UPDATE:7/18/15]

I've found that, in order to rid those white outline edges, you need to color the opposite untextured face with...the correlating texture. OR erase extra triangles that were formed when altering a structure. It's a rather...minute fix, and may add more time, but is a subtle way to make your maps cleaner.  IF you want to do that.

unless you do know that, then my comment is irrelevant.

if you do this, be wary what program you are using. it may make programs like HT a little challenging bc it will not allow you to see behind textured surfaces.

--interesting project overall, as well as concepts

Sky Temple

EDIT:

Sorry for the confutions guys, but this pic was taken in SkechUp. You can mainly tell by looking at the bottem of the tunic. If it was in-game there wouldent be that black outlining.

Here is the final piece I have done for the Thunder Surge. https://soundcloud.com/jamesandrewharrisgrant/thunder-surge-theme

Written at 56/57 Bpm. This song has an emotional undertone, but triumphant in the themes it explores and evokes which are, adventure, defiance, and endurance, which I thought were suitable for this piece. There has also been brief instrument changes and arrangement changes, after the underwhelming first theme I decided to go for a more epic feel for this rendition to solidify the temple theme, in turn this brought a suitable change for instruments and the addition of instruments I felt were necessary to convey the mood and emotions I wanted.

There is now Timpani, trumpets, Kotos, and synthesized warm pads, as I mentioned before to solidify the piece. I hope you enjoy this theme.

I have written an opening for this mod. With this piece specifically, I wrote it with Ocarina of Time in mind to capture the theme the original opening had. That being said, I tried to keep it original and sounding like something that would be in a Zelda game. I hope you enjoy this piece, I am also going to be writing the Gannons Tower theme today.

Tell me what you think.

I meant to address this when you first asked, sorry for the delay Netsrac. I fixed the ending after re-working some of the instrumentation decisions in the version I have now the ending takes some time to decay bringing a nice finish to this piece. :)

Also I have started on a demo for Gannon's tower and the Forest temple.

For Gannon I wrote an organ piece for those interested, which will later be expanded upon, this piece is very much influenced by Oath to Order and hopefully that influence comes through. That being said, it will still feature my style and not be a carbon copy of OTO.

Forest temple will be worked on next week, sometime.

*EDIT - 5:55 AM 08/01/2015*

@Netsrac I finished the new opening song - https://soundcloud.com/jamesandrewharrisgrant/opening-tsa-ver-2

Speaking of, I still need to finish some music projects for you. I was going to make a better boss theme. Something that sounds a bit more epic. The last one I made has the wrong feel in my opinion due to the fact that I wasn't picturing a boss fight when I made it.

Wrote a theme for the Stalagmite Cavern. I don't know how to describe this track. This is more orchestrated (albeit synthesized) than other pieces of music that I have made, for TSA. I am aware it does sound a little different to usual but I hope this doesn't put you off this piece.

I wrote this piece slightly differently than usual, in terms of style and structure. It comes off strong because of the building and force of the strings if you catch my meaning. The song also is inspired by Russian classical music and some of my heritage, I wanted it to have a formidable and intimidating sound. Apart from it coming off a bit strong, I am glad you liked it.
