  1. Wow, the changes are fantastic! It just feels so fluid and fast paced and the new movesets feel so good. The alternate costumes are pretty awesome too, was surprised to see Toon Links "Second Quest" clothing! Anyone who is thinking about trying Project M out, you really should, and it's not like any of the changes are permanent.
  2. I've heard a lot of good things about this mod! Unfortunately there is no PAL release, so I guess I'm gonna have to acquire an NTSC version. Edit: Hmm.. The installer seems to just disappear from my desktop. The zip archive has downloaded though, so that's good.
  3. If you have Windows 7 or above, you will have Windows Live Movie Maker, which in my opinion is awful. There seems to be some places you can pick up Movie Maker 6.0, aka the only thing Vista got right. I'd recommend that!
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhlCHbtTWME It was the end of the youtube URL Would appreciate a real link in the original post though!
  5. Link takes the slime and puts it in his spoils bag!
  6. In my opinion, I think this would work best as either a OoT/MM hack, or a fan-fic. However, it's a really cool idea, especially the prospect of a war in Hyrule. I've actually been toying around with an idea for a game based during the Hyrulean Civil War where you play as a Sheikah fighting for the hylians. It would also use ideas from Twilight Princess with the Interlopers. You would have to go to 3 temples to pray to the golden goddesses for help. The final boss would involve fighting an interloper using the Fused Shadow. That's all I have really, it's not built up very much. Alas, I don't have the knowledge or the skill to make something so advanced. I hope to continue learning C# and move on to bigger projects, but at the moment I can barely make a Text Adventure. Maybe one day you'll see something from me. If anyone wants to use or develop the idea for anything, feel free.
  7. It's no problem man, glad I could help!
  8. Whoops, couple things I forgot to mention, will add them to op Thanks HeavyZ, that's one of the things I forgot to mention but I'll definitely keep it in mind ^.^
  9. So recently I've been working on some very basic hacking for Mario 64, and this is what I have so far. It's not great, I know that, but I'd like your opinions on how I can make it better. For now there is one star available. This is the first one. Going down the pipe starts the first bowser battle, which will get you stuck in the bowser room when you leave the level. Things I've noted myself: There is too little variation in textures Textures can look stretched Put portholes in the alcove Only first few enemies have been added 2 bullet bill canons don't work yet Bullet bill has been misplaced on first canon Also, I have a .ppf for you to check out! You need to apply it to an extended ROM. A tutorial on how to extend your ROM can be found here under "Getting Started" Download Airship Preview ppf Here is a link to my Mario scale reference. It includes a .skp and .dae of the model. (Thanks to SanguinettiMods for telling me how to get it) Pictures: Feedback would be greatly appreciated, as that is my main motive for making this post.
  10. Sure, I'll do that when I get back from college! EDIT: Here you go, there's a .skp and a .dae in there. Make sure the importer is set to a scale of 1! http://www.mediafire.com/download/rr0tmtmn786rrmb/Mario_64_Reference.zip
  11. Guess I lied. Here is an Airship Fortress level I've been working on! Firstly, ignore the random fire, that was a test to see how it worked. Secondly, I haven't added enemies yet other than the bullet bill canon seen in the picture. Since this is the Q&A forum, how can I improve the level? I was thinking that it doesn't feel long enough to reach the warp pipe at the back, but I'd like your opinions too!
  12. Would have to agree with everyone here. The new theme is really cool!
  13. I've gotta admit, I think they've sold it to me. There aren't many Vita games out that justify spending £180 on a Wi-fi only Vita, however £65 is much more appealing to me. If I want to game on a portable then I have my phone and my 3ds. The fact that it will stream ps4 games as well is just a win-win in my opinion for when I eventually get my hands on one! Also, apparently it has 1GB internal memory. Not much, but it's more than the psp ever had.
  14. To be honest I'm just testing out what I can do with it. The problem is that I enjoy being creative and making things, but I don't really have any skill or talent in anything like that. I decided I'd attempt to make a level or 2 in Mario 64 as the level design doesn't have to be too clever and allows me to just try and get better. To be honest, it's probably best not to expect anything from me, but if anything happens I'll be sure to share on the forum!
  15. Thanks! This worked absolutely perfectly, wouldn't of thought of it on my own!
  16. I have already imported maps to Mario 64 and they work, but they are never the size I expect them to be. I have a model of Mario that I import into sketch-up to compare the size, but the Mario model changes sizes in game when the size of the map is altered. Basically, the smaller the map the bigger the Mario model becomes. I'm just curious to know if anyone has an easy way to correctly scale the map. It would be much appreciated! Let me know if I missed any details.
  17. I thought so, the earlier posts just confused me >.< Project Antiqua isn't the most imaginative name, but Fall of Antiqua is much more interesting and sounds more fun. Hope all's going well
  18. I can't tell whether this a new name for the project or it really is cancelled. Hope to get some insight into this soon.
  19. Well I'm glad it's coming in handy I was thinking about documenting the Objects folder soon after finishing up the Stage folder, but I'm not sure if I have the patience. If I were to do it, I would be loosely describing the files contents rather than each separate file. I would also probably need some people to help. Would it be worth doing so?
  20. Was away for the weekend and have only just got back. How useful is the information? There are still some blanks which I need to fill, but that will come soon.
  21. Yeah they work great! Had to change them to .tga first, but the result was perfect. EDIT: Ah were they from the texc folder? If so I'll have to remember that next time.
  22. I'm actually using 3ds Max with the MaxBMD plugin to view it, although the same problem does occur with BMDView.
  23. Big Update! I have updated the first post with the Stage folder documentation! There are some things missing and I could use help in identifying them.
