  1. Thanks, there seems to be some useful stuff here. I added the links to the main post, as well as SanguinettiMods link for anyone who might be looking for them.
  2. Ah it would make a lot of sense for them to be located there. Just so you know, I'm roughly half way done with the Stage folder. Once I get all this information up, there are one or two locations that I need help confirming. EDIT: Is there any way to apply the correct textures to the models? At some points I'm looking at things like this: For the record, is it the Cave of Ordeals? It's located in D_SB01 and has 50 room folders and an STG. EDIT: haddockd's second link, confirms my thoughts on it being the Cave of Ordeals as it describes the room as the "Great Fairy's Cave".
  3. Well at least it's not useless It seems that a few of the locations are missing textures, most noticeably Hyrule Field. Most of Hyrule Field is located in F_SP121 and the fields with entrances to Castle Town are in F_SP122. I was curious if someone knew if this is because the textures are stored elsewhere as they are reused more than once or something like that.
  4. Just a quick update, I'm still working on the documentation, but life's just been throwing things at me recently so I haven't made as much progress as I'd hoped. I still have no clue whether people will find this helpful, but it's something interesting to do and I'm happy to complete it.
  5. @Antidote Thanks that would actually make a lot of sense. Are there any other patterns you know of that could help out in documenting? @SanguinettiMods Ah ok well it was still very helpful anyway. Already used it to confirm a couple locations with similar themes.
  6. @Antidote Oops sorry it was late when I posted that, what I meant to say was just all of the animation files. Tired me was being so specific he said the wrong extension @SanguinettiMods Thanks! That's very useful but it doesn't seem complete. Do you know if the owner has any plans to finish it at all?EDIT: Worked out the animation thing. Still working on map documentation and finding Kakariko.
  7. Hey Antidote, believe it or not you have popped up in quite a few of my searches to find the tools I needed to extract models! Thanks for the offer to help, I'll definitely keep that in mind if we need anything. Off-Topic: Actually, we've been extracting Link from kmdl into 3DS Max and can't work out how to get the .bst animations in from AlAnim, if you can help with that it would be great if you can pm me
  8. Zelda: Twilight Princess ROM Documentation Documentation (Based on the GCN version of Twilight Princess) File System Stage Folder Object Folder - Very incomplete. This is a public document, so feel free to add to it! Collision Flags Tools - Updated! 9. Haven't played very much yet, but it's exactly what I expected. Awesome so far! Just so you know I played on Project64 and haven't had any problems yet.
  10. This looks really cool, and it doesn't seem as if the maps are overrun with unnecessary enemies. The map designs are really clever, and Hyrule Field already feels a lot more alive and interesting than before too! Can't wait to see what else is to come!
  11. Great to see you put a few of the videos on the main channel!
  12. Guys. http://web.archive.org/web/20120512125814/http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFCRiydBUaQ&gl=US&hl=en I... I didn't think that would work... Well that's all of Zeth's library of videos back! EDIT: A lot of the videos don't work at all. Confirmed ones that work are Palace of Ice and Temple of Light. Link to Zeth's archived channel. http://web.archive.org/web/20120826092631/http://www.youtube.com/user/ZethN64/videos
  13. Whoops, looks like I forgot to introduce myself! Hi! I’m Keanine, or Keanen if you prefer, I’m a male and I’m 16. I’m taking my GCSE's at the moment and have a place in college for software and games design next year. I love Nintendo, but feel their business plan hasn't really been working out recently, and a lot of hardcore gamer's have been left out, hence my movement to PS3 and PC. As I’m sure most of you have guessed, I love Zelda, but also enjoy most other genres of games as long as they aren't CoD or Fifa.(People who are into those games, I have no problem, they’re just not my thing) Due to my exams, I’m not going to be very active for the next few weeks, but after that I would love to become more involved with this community. See you guys around!
  14. Considering the changes to Hyrule from Ocarina of Time to Twilight Princess, the possibilities are endless!
  15. ^This I love all the thoughts so far! I have to agree with you guys in that Twilight Princess has a style with huge potential, that never quite worked out in my opinion. I've always felt that side quests in Zelda (excluding Majoras Mask) have been very bland and uninteresting and would love to see more involvement with them. Dungeonless... That would be a very strange, yet very cool concept for a Zelda game if pulled off well.
  16. Ok so, hypothetically, if you were to play a 3D Zelda fan game with a unique storyline, what sort of thing would you like to see from it? That could be story, ideas, items, sidequests, features, or anything! I'm just curious is all.
