Zelda OOT Custom Disk Log

So LuigiBlood (he has dumped N64DD Roms and implemented support for the N64DD in Project64) was able to make the game read custom data from a fabricated disk rom. Has anyone been able to this in the past? I remember a post from @Zeth Ryder in which he bruteforced the game to start without a disk attached and some funny stuff happened, but dunno if he was able to add new text through this mechanic

Yeah I messed with the DD code as well as got some of the english error messages to pop up. The reason the coded did weird stuff was because it added the Disk tag to the file 1 of the file select menu and because it was still active in the same memory location while the file menu select actor was removed as different areas load those offsets were being changed for different actors that landed in that space. I however haven't seen content added using the DD related stuff. This is pretty exciting stuff! :)
