  1. With places like discord that allow users to post pics, vids, etc. Setup several different channels for things, its kind of made using forums obsolete. That's my guess for the quietness. Also I am enjoying the progress you've been making on the project CM30! Do you have an estimate on how much of the hack is done?
  2. I don't visit these forums too often but man am I glad to see you are still working on this. Its really looking amazing!
  3. I'll have to check these out! Is there a patch for everything together so far instead of separate patches?
  4. No matter what account you are on, Welcome back! Things have been quiet around here but there hasn't exactly been much going on compared to the older days. Either way, it's great to see a returning member! I hope you enjoy your stay and if you have any questions, feel free to hit me up in my IMs or any of the staff that isn't Shadow Fire since he's still MIA until things get settled on his end.
  5. World map looks good and nice DKC2 rip! Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
  6. Yeah I messed with the DD code as well as got some of the english error messages to pop up. The reason the coded did weird stuff was because it added the Disk tag to the file 1 of the file select menu and because it was still active in the same memory location while the file menu select actor was removed as different areas load those offsets were being changed for different actors that landed in that space. I however haven't seen content added using the DD related stuff. This is pretty exciting stuff!
  7. Congrats on the job Shadow Fire! Looking forward to more updates and wishing the best for ya good buddy!
  8. That's pretty interesting to see Castle Town's design in Banjo Kazooie. As for the dragonflies not working, are you sure it's the right one and not the one from the logo? Just a guess because it was static and you could jump thru it without getting hurt.
  9. Welcome back! A Link's Awakening DX hack for the GBC? Sounds pretty awesome! Look forward to seeing info about it!
  10. You can use the GCN's attach file option which will embed all the images at the end of your post. That way you don't have to worry about 3rd party hosting and images disappearing.
  11. I haven't told much about the latest games I've picked up recently. So here they are: I recently got a PS3 since my old one died years ago and I was finally able to start playing this gem again on it. I also picked up these games! And lastly but definitely not least! My 64Drive arrived and have been enjoying it thoroughly so far! I've gotten to test out even a few of my old hacks to see if they'd run on hardware and they do! Pix below!
  12. Yep! Gump and I got things covered so The GCN is here to stay!
  13. There has to be something we can do! I honestly don't want to see everything we've created here in the community fade away.
  14. It's an unused function in the door actors. It was used during the old E3/spaceworld demos to prevent players from entering the unfinished houses.
  15. This is very impressive! Keep up the great work!
  16. Nice to meet you Zippy! Welcome to GCN and as Shadow Fire said, we are a collective of gamers who like a broad range of games(Reason for the name GCN) but while we may not be a site dedicated specifically to Zelda hacking, we do have a stronger Zelda presence here since a lot of older projects originated here. The forums have been a little on the slow side as of late since most of us hangout on discord which you can find the invite here or you can click it at the top of the site. If you are wanting to start getting involved in Zelda hacking there is several ways you can, first is you can read up on the information on the wikis below. The CloudModding wiki is more up to date regarding information relating to the two games but spinout's wiki is the oldest one and has some pretty good information as well. CloudModding OOT Wiki CloudModding MM Wiki spinout's Z64 Wiki We also have a tutorial section written by our members which is also a great starting point too! Also don't forget to check out the GCN Modding Section which has a lot of great information and programs written by the community. GCN Tutorial Section GCN Modification Section I hope this will help get you started and always remember......

  19. Topic has been lockedDue to an administration decision, the topic has been locked since the project is no longer being worked on. If this happens to change at a later date, please contact the GCN administration!
  20. I actually posted a comment on the interview and Edwin linked to it in the article. There was a few things that were not correct regarding some of the things Mister Walton and CrookedPoe spoke on.
  21. I don't know how I missed this thread but those models are really looking good with what you did in Sculptris! I am hoping things are going well with rigging in blender! When I was learning how to rig, I've had some pretty hilarious mess ups, one of them I posted below! I hope you are having fun while learning! https://i.gyazo.com/99c20034f5850a49233a1460f244b17a.png
  22. I'm really impressed with amount of work you are putting into this! Keep up the great work CM30!
