    Link VS Cloud

But the Earth was destroyed. Sure, Goku might survive for a while in space, but without any air to find, he will die. There is no known breathable air in our solar system beyond Earth.

    Link VS Cloud

Okay Tell-Tale Heart. Consider they omitted most of Link's arsenal from across the series. Had he been equipped with the likes of Nayru's Love and Magic Armor, he wouldn't have broken a sweat. They dumbed Link down for the sake of giving Cloud a chance. Besides, even if this were solely OoT Link, his equipment alone (which they didn't explore fully) would have decimated Cloud. Nayru's Love = invincibility & four blue potions = restore all health and magic. Cloud also has an array of Materia they ignored for a simpler battle. They also gave Cloud his Buster Sword instead of the Ultimate Weapon (unfair disadvantage, for Link should have wielded a simple Hero's Sword to equal the Buster Sword's weakness). Not a perfect measure, but an entertaining one nonetheless. I was particularly impressed with the Golden Gauntlet explanation as a defensive measure. Never thought of their resistant properties for they're only used to lift granite columns in-game. And no, these fights don't always go the way you want. It's a 50/50 duel. If you want one side to win, you've got a 50% chance of them winning, plain and simple. There's a Super Power Beatdown episode between Wolverine and Batman. My hero lost that fight. Same goes for the White Ranger v. Scorpion match.
  3. Project M is optimally designed for multiplayer. The single player modes have yet to be ironed out so no guarantee it'll work. Classic Mode seems to be fine, though I wonder what happens if you win with Mewtwo and Roy... do you get the congratulations screen for Lucario and Marth? I know Mewtwo and Roy are not accounted for in the game records, attributing to Lucario and Marth's overall scores.
  4. You can transfer data from a 3DS to an XL? HELL, I would have snagged one of the various ALBW 3DS XL deals had I known this! Still rockin' the ol' tiny screen. Or maybe not. Maybe I'll wait for the possible Majora's Mask 3DS XL bundle. A purple/black XL with a laser-engraved Majora's Mask would be prime! Sorry to hear about your loss Bullock, really. Glad you're keeping in good spirits though.
  5. I enjoy the frantic nature of Dynasty Warriors from time to time. Dynasty Warriors Gundam was a particular treat, with Tecmo Koei doing the series a great service. Gundam games are hit or miss, but they delivered a very enjoyable experience. Most DW games grow stale after a while, but considering this is Zelda, I'll probably stay interested for quite some time. To those not familiar with the Dynasty Warriors series, each game possesses a multitude of playable characters who lead battalions of varied troops across great expanses of land. Each game is packed with many battlefields, so expect this to cover all of Hyrule proper and then some. I doubt Link will be the only playable character in this game, despite utilizing an array of weapons.
  6. Don't go the installer route. It's easier to download the nohomebrew zip (unless you have homebrew). Just unzip and copy the folder contents over. Be sure to delete all custom stages before inserting the SD card! I've been having a blast with Mewtwo.
  7. Damn man. I wonder if it's a server issue. I had the fortune of downloading it immediately upon announcement via the projectmelee twitter, for their site was down. If you continue having problems, I'll see if I can forward the file to you. This can't be missed! I was thinking earlier how I never honed my skills at Melee, picking up Smash competitively with Brawl. This evolves Brawl with respect to Melee in such a refined manner, and with a robust 41-character roster, excellent stages, and perhaps the most balanced metagame in the series to date, it really stands out above its predecessors. Hope you get it working asap. OH! To note. I first tried a 1GB SD card and I could not advance beyond the stage select screen. 2GB works best.
  8. http://projectmgame.com/en/ THE FULL ROSTER Fan favorites Roy, Mewtwo, Samus, Kirby, Yoshi, Ice-Climbers and Olimar all return in top form. With this landmark update not only completing the original Brawl roster, but expanding it to a massive 41 characters, we’ve chosen to shed the “DEMO†moniker from our title. However, please be aware that this is not yet Project M’s final or “gold†release – everything is still subject to refinement for now. TURBO MODE This new release includes "Turbo Mode," a game type in Special VS which allows any character to interrupt moves once they’ve connected with an opponent. Chain attacks together to create Turbo speed combos limited only by your imagination and dexterity. Additionally, you can also gain short spurts of Turbo Mode within normal VS play by picking up the Turbo Curry item. Play it your way: mix it in to your normal item play or have fun in the full-time Turbo Mode. ALTERNATE COSTUMES & COLORS But that's not all! This release also includes alternate costumes and colors for various characters. Please note that the current distribution of alternate costumes is not perfectly “balanced†or “fair,†-- we have limited modeling time and limited memory space, so we’ve tried to hit some of the costumes that we think will be the most popular first, and will continue adding costumes in future releases as time and space allow. Thanks for your understanding, and enjoy the first batch of costumes. AN IMPORTANT CONSIDERATION FOR 3-4 PLAYER FIGHTS There is one minor but important issue that we have to discuss for competitive play. Due to the slightly-flawed model importer that we have to use – which we are currently working on replacing – new models including Roy, Mewtwo, and all new alt costumes have a higher tendency to create gameplay lag than Brawl’s original models despite utilizing similar polygon counts. This is not an issue in singles play in most cases but in doubles more than two new player models on screen at once can potentially create noticeable lag. Again, this is something that we’re actively working on addressing, we'll have more details on the specific instances of lag for Tournament Operators to look at and make judgment calls on rules soon. We apologize for this inconvenience and hope to have this resolved in future releases. In the meantime, we have included warning icons on each costume's character portrait that has the potential to induce any amount of lag for players and TOs. This is the best Smash Bros. game available to the world. If you haven't heard about or played it, but have a Wii, Brawl, and a 2GB SD card, then enjoy! Project M hybridizes the best of Brawl, the best of Melee, and evolves it into something amazing. There hasn't been a tighter, more enjoyable Smash Bros. experience before. This is it.
  9. This does appear to be Katakana. Good find Zeth! I suppose someone with a fair knowledge of Japanese could read it, especially if playing on a 3DS XL. Extracting the textures is probably too difficult right now.
  10. I'm a Texan. That's the intro heard in the beginning of Cruisin' USA, and it cracks me up every time I hear it. Kinda stuck in my memory now, thus why I had to write it out. Fond memories of playing through that game with my childhood friend.
  11. Can't help, but I had to drop by because: Cruuuuuuuisinnnn' YeeaaAAYYYHHH—Cruisin' USA, YEAH! YeeaaahhhHHH!! WHOAHH WHOOOaaaHHhhh—whoa Whoa WHoA WHOA whuh WHOOOOAH WhOOooahh...
  12. I'm curious. Imagine you are in charge of developing the dungeons for a new Zelda game. There is no limit to thematics, naming, connections between, or the quantity thereof. If you need some structure, try listing 7-10 dungeons. If you need more structure, limit each dungeon to represent at most three dungeon elements (forest, fire, water, shadow, sand, wind, light, ice, etc.). Have fun!
  13. Your work would look multitudes better if you'd fix the textures. Try manually triangulating your models as well as stretching your textures to be larger. Best they look good from a distance than up close. OoT has a lot of stretched, blurry textures (see the walls of Hyrule Field, Kakariko, etc), but it sells from a distance. When you're up close, you're attention is focused on the micro.
  14. I don't know if I hate it (compared to blasphemes like Big Red, *puke*), but since I stopped drinking sodas over two years ago, its flavor has fallen so low that I can't even finish a half-can. Sodas make my stomach hurt the instant they hit. I think some 20 years of drinking them (yeah...) built up a resistance to the extremely acidic and destructive nature of them, but only in coping. I hope my reverse lifestyle will heal some of the obvious wounds.
  15. Bravo! You've achieved a serene tranquility I don't think I've ever quite reached in my landscape work. I absolutely love the silhouetted trees on the right. There is one outlandish trait here that detracts from the persuasion of the piece, and that's the contrast between light and shadow on the far mountains. I feel it needs to be much more subtle. For a 3.5 hour painting, you have great talent. The dark crest of the highest mountain against that soft peach sky is just gorgeous. There's one mountain highlight that is, contrary to what I said before, brilliant: it's the small bright rhombus towards the right. It is so convincing in its geographic geometry. Please keep painting. You have serious potential and an obvious love for the craft. Let's see more artwork JamesAndrewHarris!
  16. I give you zero permission to use my concept art. You are free to make content based on it and if so, please credit me as such, but you cannot use or claim rights to my work. Thanks and good luck, Spire
  17. Have fun finding a new intestinal tract on the black market. *SPOILER ALERT* Dr. Pepper is actually the name of the doctor who saves your life.
  18. That is gorgeous man. It could use some projected textures, but damn, that geography and that architecture! Keep it up!
  19. Dawnguard is a pretty good expansion. While it does not add a new landmass (see: Dragonborn Expansion; opinion: Solstheim was better in Bloodmoon), the feud between the vampires and the vampire hunters is fun. Being a Vampire Lord is a great change of gameplay, and if you're like me and you've been playing a Batman-like character, it's a proper mythical evolution of said hero. So, to those of you who end up playing it—have fun!
  20. He'll get a nice ride that'll turn to shit in a few years and you'll be back in troubled automobile bliss. I know what it's like to say goodbye to a love-hate car. My last one had the worst screech every time you'd even tap your breaks. No one could figure it out. The AC had oil leaking into it or something, so the air was slippery. Lots off odds and ends with that car, my old black '99 ford taurus. Shit car, but good memories.
