  1. Nice work man, you've got a good atmosphere going
  2. Loving the work you're doing here, it's fantastic
  3. I'm sure you'll be able to work something out. I'll still be here keeping an eye on the place.
  4. I'm loving the amount of polish you're showing in these, you've really got something great coming together. I especially love the doors that are slightly ajar that slam shut when you get close enough. It's the small things that really make the atmosphere work. Are they custom actors?
  5. Nice I had a couple that were completely burned out, so I gutted them both and turned one of them into a Hackintosh.
  6. Looking good, can't wait to see it in action

    Hey!

Welcome, welcome It's always great to have some new people coming in!
  8. sairugoth misunderstood you. As to whether the abstraction in the WAD for the input bindings on the Wii can be changed, I have no idea. But I expect there'd be a part of the WAD that handles it since some N64 games have different bindings depending on the game. So it should be doable, but I have no idea how.
  9. I may use the LTTP/LA Link if a project idea I have ever gets off the ground
  10. The terrible vertex shading isn't actually directly a result of the importer itself, it's a result of the geometry. Since he's using sketchup to make his geometry and isn't building it one triangle at a time, it's triangulating things for him, which means it optimises for less polygons, which also means huge, stretched and misshapen triangles that when lit using vertices looks awful. I was actually planning on doing something between an LA remake and an original story; my idea was that it would take place during Link's seven year slumber in OOT. He'd dream an island trial to prepare himself. Never got around to doing it, partly because I wanted to have hardware compatibility and I never got around to making the design doc for the tool suite I had envisioned for said purpose.
  11. Hmm. It's a shame there wasn't more to be found, but this is pretty cool nonetheless.

    PokemonGO

Eh. I'm not hugely invested in it, but I do play from time to time.
  13. If the Partner hardware is all that's needed to run the disk, he shouldn't have too much trouble getting someone to hand him one.
  14. Modified the topic title since we now know the name of the game: Breath of the Wild. I am beyond excited for this game, it's breaking conventions in all the right ways and I feel like I'm going to get a lot of enjoyment out of it.
  15. I am tentatively still working on my own project, but I haven't done much with it in a while; I've been pursuing another project which is still in its design phase, but it's related. It's smaller yet bigger in some senses.
  16. I'm very interested in the direction Nintendo is taking with this particular title. They've kept it uncharacteristically under wraps. Unless I'm misremembering, we haven't had this little press in quite a while. There's been little to no story info, little to no info on a lot of stuff.
  17. Heya, welcome Things are a little quiet on the scene at the minute, but we're hoping it'll liven up soon
  18. I'll be posting a few levels myself soon. Working on a couple.
  19. Cool to hear things are going well, kudos to you for almost finishing your compsci degree
  20. Welcome welcome As yet another Australian gamer, my internet is a bit slow sometimes so playing games online can sometimes be a frustrating hassle, but hey, it's all fun
  21. If this is real, I will shit myself with joy. I do not say stuff like that easily. First the Dream cart and now this?
  22. I'd probably preorder this purely for Symphonia, but I'd need to make some money first, and hope that enough other people preorder, too.
