  1. Hey guys and girls, it's been a long time since my last visit here and I'm very happy that this community is going strong as ever.
  2. I couldn't resist waiting so here it is! My gift to the community! Save File from Custom Beach Map for Ocarina of Time by Griduser64 BeachMapGriduser64.zip - 1.7 Mb Simply load the file with Project64 when you start the debug rom. Video: (Warning! A little nsfw content at the end.. ) Please feel free to comment on the map, or if you have any questions! If someone thinks they can add more stuff to it I will upload them the obj/mtl file. Enjoy! I've set out to make a cool custom map for OoT and I think I've completed my goal or dream, I will put map making on hold for now and if in the future I decide to start making more maps I'll be sure to post here! Thanks for your support folks!
  3. A save state never came to thought! That's what I'll do, thanks guys!
  4. Sharp ocarina has a "save scene" feature so I'll release the map as a scene and then anyone can just use sharpocarina to "open scene" and "inject to rom" to patch it themselves. I plan on making instructions for those who need them and I'll be releasing the beach map in a few days! There will be a "sexy" surprise! Stay tuned everyone!
  5. It's going, I've been kind of busy but I got some plans. Hopefully I'll get to release a map or two although I'm not sure how to do it without releasing the rom itself, it is a debug rom that never got out in mainstream so hopefully there won't be legal issues?
  6. Making sure the water is the last set of defined vertices and faces might work, thank you every much!
  7. This issue has been popping out from time to time but now it's unfixable, When I set the transparency for a water surface in sharpocarina and run the rom, this happens This is how it should look, Sometimes the water doesn't show up at all. This issue starts happening after I've already made a few objects in the map and then as soon as I insert a new object it occurs but if I remove the new object it doesn't happen, so adding new stuff will cause the issue for some reason. I've tried making the water a component in sketchup but that didn't work. I'm sure it has something to do with sketchup, and I will upload the sketchup file to anyone who is willing to take a look at it.
  8. Yup different pic, should I keep the moon?
  9. I haven't gotten to trying your suggestion but I will soon, and thanks for the inputs. A pic from my map.
  10. Thanks, I'll try it. Edit: No luck, are you sure those are the inputs? This is how I set it up:
  11. My latest map! Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_8dJQTeWVQ I still have to insert characters and some other things so it's not fully finished.
