    ZTE

Thank you! I think I'll wait for a "better" text editor to be released... I thought Nemu was an emulator? OZMAV2 extracts maps as .obj files, but Sketchup can't open them... Which UoT version are you using to do that (to edit vertexes)?

    ZTE

Hello, Does anyone have ZTE, the Zelda Text editor? I'm not able to find any working download links... Thank you very much! Oh, and I have a quick question: How to extract OoT's maps to edit them (with sketchup)?
  3. It's my favorite game too! Happy Birthday, Majora's Mask!

    Push Block Issues

I read your notes thread, but this: is new! Thank you very much, Arcaith, you've helped us very much! Edit: I just tested that the small block (60 units) moves 20 units each push! But nevermind, I figured out what the problem was: The push block was 1 unit away from his starting place, so the space on the left was missing 1 unit for the block to be pushed on! But thank you very much, Arcaith! So, SanguinettiMods, either your block trench length is not a multiple of 20 (if you're using a small block), or it is displaced by 1 or 2 units...

    Push Block Issues

SanguinettiMods-> I see! I hope we'll both be able to solve our problem! Okami Amaterasu-> Yes, it is correctly aligned with the trench. Link can push it through the whole trench, excepted the small space I showed. Thank you very much, SanguinettiMods and Okami Amaterasu!

    Push Block Issues

Hello there, I've got an issue with a push block in a map I imported with SharpOcarina. The problem is that Link is not able to push the block any further than this: As you can see there's some space left on the left side; Link is not able to push it completely to the left. First, I thought there was something like a maximal push width for blocks. But I tested it on a wide area and it worked there. Help is very welcome! Thank you for reading!
  7. Happy Birthday spinout! I hope you've had a nice day!
  8. Hm...I know that SayakaGL doesn't work with relocated actors (it seems not to be able to find the modified addresses), so...
  9. Hello, SayakaGL won't open roms patched with john_smith_account's NO_DMA. The error is: Unhandled exception has occurred...Index was out of range... The editor also randomly switches to other actors while you are editing actor numbers; it's a pain to have to go back to the actor everytime you changed its number. Finally, it's a bit difficult to change actor numbers and variables because the editor needs to have always four numbers there; you have to change every bit individually. I don't want to complain! These are only suggestions. The editor is really nice and easier (or faster) to use than Utility of Time (I've found the cake!). I hope it will become our main editor for non-custom maps, SharpOcarina being the importer and editor for custom maps.
  10. Happy birthday to you, Dominic!
  11. Happy birthday to you! Have a nice day!
  12. There's the actor tutorial I used! You can see the problem I got in the Q&A forum. I don't know if the problem is only for the market or for all rooms...
  13. Oh...it means 270 in hexadecimal is equal to 624 and not to 390, right? But never mind, I made this mistake in my message but not in my rom. Display lists after actors and objects...this sounds complicated (to me). I even don't know what a display list is. But thank you! I may try to find zeldaedit.
  14. Thanks to SanguinettiMods' great help and tutorial, I could finally import my first Fire Temple themed map. Firstly, I triangulated everything manually, but the import was very scrappy. After that I used the OBJ Exporter Triangulator, it worked. Does one know why triangulating manually doesn't work? I checked thrice if I hadn't forgotten to triangulate a face and I deleted useless geometry which could contain faces other than triangles. But let me return to the successful import! The results are very good! Only 7 textures are stretched or messed up. This red triangle here only appears in SharpOcarina (not in-game). What is it? : The stretched textures look right in SharpOcarina, but not in-game: As you see, there's only the half of the brown faces on the right side of the two blocks. On the left side, everything is stetched. The small block has a stretched yellow face on top, too. The big block's top face is working fine. Anyways, thank you very much for the nice tool, xdaniel!

    Groups in SketchUp?

Excuse me, SanguinettiMods, I have the same problem with the free version; am I permitted to contact you? I'm new here and we don't know each other, so it is no problem if you say no. Thank you for reading!
  16. Happy birthday, Arcaith! Have a nice day!
  17. So, I was adding actors in the market (market_day_room_0.zmap) and I encountered a problem. I tried to relocate the actors without adding new ones; the problem was still there. It must be linked to the relocating. I'll explain my steps: 1. I change the actor starting offset (00 00 00 60) in the actor header to the end of the zmap ( 00 00 58 70). 2. I insert enough lines at the bottom to handle the market's actors (270 hexadecimal bytes (390 decimal bytes) for the 39 actors of the market). 3. I copy the actor data from offset 60 and paste it on offset 5870. 4. I relocate the end offset of the zmap in the zscene (02AE6670 + 270 = 02AE68E0). The problem is, the room won't load the second time! That is, when I first enter the market, everything works fine, but when I leave the market through any exit (alley, castle, entry, house...) and re-enter it, it freezes (the music goes on, though) ! Thank you very much for reading, and thank you even more for help!

    Hello.

Hello there, I'm Rinku and I'm (you guessed it) new here. I've finally got an account here; I always wanted to see what is going on here because people on other websites/forums spoke about The GCN; as guest, I couldn't see anything, so...here I am! I'm interested in hacking, I mean editing Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and any further 3D Zelda games. I like to use editors/tools like Utility of Time and recently SayakaGL and SharpOcarina. I have never learned to hack, so it is very difficult for me to edit games without prebuilt tools. The most difficult thing I'm able to do is adding some actors, and only with a tutorial. Well, I have problems with it, too...I'm going to ask for help later. I make also 2D Zelda games (with a tool called Zelda Classic), I'm on several other websites, I love art and I like and do many other things that have nothing to do with games. My current "project" is a french OOT actor list (half done!), which I will complete with some missing variables. But enough of me!
