I thought they had copyright for like...70 years on that stuff? Copyright only can last 15-20 years at a time. From Nintendo's website: Haven't the Copyrights for Old Games Expired? U.S. copyright laws state that copyrights owned by corporations are valid for 75 years from the date of first publication. Because video games have been around for less than three decades, the copyrights of all video games will not expire for many decades to come. Hm. That may be for consoles I was thinking of.

Nintendo should not be doing this. Here's why: Too many Copyright claims/strikes on youtube can result in a banning of your account. These ads will remove all revenue from people who have this as their job, instead of the gaming networks now paying their LPers, they are now gonna have to give that to Nintendo. Peoples jobs will be hurt from this, as stated ^. Also, for the people who use facecam, (Like me,) that would be claiming ownership not only on the video of the game itself, but ownership over the person. That is just... what. Furthermore, Nintendo doesn't even own the rights to some of these games anymore, prime example being Zelda on the NES. Copyright has expired, so in that area they have no right to be doing this.

Oh so is that why the game crashes when I try to boot it up? I know that some cheats can be put into the actual rom with a hex editor. Would it be possible to do that with the cheat? Who made the hack anyways? I've looked it up and couldn't find out. Spinout made the hack, and yeah that should be possible

It could be played on a flashcart. HOWEVER OOT Four Swords cannot be completed without the use of a cheat device, so you could need a gameshark to play it completelyas well

So I imported my custom map into the game and now it refuses to view the model so I can add/remove anything. Anyone know what's up?

Story and gameplay for me as well. Hence why Shadow of the Colossus is my favorite game.

Losing a friend. I would never want to put any of my friends, family, or my girlfriend through the pain of me losing my life. I could go through the pain for them while they rested peacefully. I have not looked at anything in regards to the Xbox720 and PS. I'm definitely turning into more of a PC gamer.

Spire was correct, you should use hexagons/octagons for pillars, it's better for the framerate.

Oh my god. Comments from little children. Comments from less than 10 year old children. Comments from less than 10 year old CoD playing children. That's the stuff nightmares are made of.

Spire, come to think of it you might be right, circles may have more faces in the model that octagons or hexagons do, due to their fine circular shape. Might cause more stress on the engine or rendering than it needs to. I'll try that in my next map model.

I know the feel. I made a "How to get OOT Four Swords" video, and I got boatloads of comments that I had trouble discerning or otherwise, I eventually did though. But it was still irritating. Like asking me if you can play the game on one keyboard with two or more people. -__-

Thanks! ^^ It's only my first map (well, first one that worked in the importing) so I have a lot to learn, I'd like to make a few new dungeons and just stick them into OOT for fun eventually though.

SeithDarkwraith is a mixture of two things, Seith being my fursona and Darkwraith stems from Dark Souls, which I chose to be a Darkwraith in.
