  1. No... that would be a different issue involving AI hacking/manipulation. It's possible there's a command that can be seperated from its cutscene functions that can make it move freely. Although, it DOES make them seperate entities.
  2. Yeah, 3 Gohmas isn't unlikely, it's just that the usual lag has been reduced from it. There's some conflicts with Barinade being paired up with the other 2, but only when Barinade is freed from it's tendrils, and starts spinning. However, this is because both Barinade and Bongo Bongo share the FFFF variable, but neither will work without their variables set to FFFF.
  3. Yeah... for now I posted a topic about it in the Modifications section... I'd rather post the information while I can.
  4. I've wanted to edit the Wiki and input this... but I'll just post my notes here: Ganondorf: Ganondorf Actor code: 017A - FFFF - 0153 + 017E (Will crash during cutscene without other group codes) Other group codes: 0060 + 00E1 + 014F + 0048 - Ganondorf is a buttmunch with the group codes, but the useful ones are Zelda's group code and 00E1 (which I believe is Ganondorf's stuff). - Zelda's group code is 0060, her actor code is: 004D - XXXX - 0060 (where XXXX can vary depending on the scene involved... she works like Malon in a way) Also this is needed for Ganondorf's full cutscene: 0106 - 0023 - 00E1 - This is the controller for Link's, Ganondorf's, and possibly Zelda's actions during the cs.. it's a remote control for Ganondorf's battle cutscene, otherwise Link is able to move freely before the triforce appears on his hand. I found that the organ MIGHT be necessary... I have not confirmed this: 00E8 - FFFF - 00E1 Multiple bosses that normally lag/crash under normal circumstances: While some bosses will crash if their variable is not set to FFFF, bosses like Morpha and Gohma can be set to 0000, 0001, etc... Having one boss as FFFF, and the other ones set to 0000 or 0001, you can pile in multiple bosses without an expected overload that causes a crash or lag. However, this does not mean that you can pile in 4 to 5 Gohmas (this has been tested) without a crash. NOTE: I believe Bongo Bongo MIGHT have different variables that will work.. I remember from an old test when I found that he works with the drum if his hand's variable is set to FFFF was that there were other variables that caused a similar reaction to his hand (without the drum). From previous observations, I vaguely recall other variables caused a atmospheric change in the map he was in with certain variables other than FFFF (with the battle fully functional). Most variables with Bongo's hand and drum will cause a crash usually. As far as I know/remember, Bongo Bongo only worked properly with FFFF, but possibly FFFE might work too (needs to be tested)... Flame Circle Actor: 0049 - 6F03 - 0001 - if you pair up a flame circle with this variable, and add actor 0187 - 0FFF - 0001 to the map, when all enemies are killed, the flame circle will disappear with a victory sound. (MQ Only) Nov 11, 2012 With my discovery of normal item drops (actor #0015), variable 00FF is confirmed to control seeds and magic pot drops: This means 0015 - 00FF - 0001 will possibly generate a random inventory collectable such as seeds, magic potions, and maybe even arrows (according to theory). Nov 16, 2012 I'm actually surprised this is not documented... however, in Z64, the actor 0189 is listed as "?". It is below the cursed family (skulltula form) and has not been updated. Looking at the House of Skulltula in UoT, I noticed that it's listed as the cursed family's human form: I have not tested them in other areas, but I assume they use a unique group number too... may need to look at the House of Skulltula and use the group codes with actor code 0189 until one of them appears (needing more than 100 gold skulltula tokens to activate some). More to come...
  5. That's a shame that this is happening... what a mess. I was hoping to get around to editing the Actor List wiki for Zelda OoT for more information on my findings, including proper groups and names need to be changed a bit.
  6. Ok, I'll keep that in mind when I try to modify other things... I got some work to put in for a lot of maps later on. Although, this is going to be a loooong project. UPDATE: Three for one Gohma Attack Squad Formation: I was thinking of keeping things swordless, but I'm probably going to allow the Kokiri Sword... less Deku Sticks. I still need to add something else to this, like a ring of fire around the portal until all the enemies are defeated. I think the miniboss in the Fire Temple (Flare Dancer) has one like that???
  7. Yeah beta Courtyard... I dunno, it's a cool URA restoration, but I'm sure there's more? I'd take a look around for other hidden things in the game... I was thinking of looking around for possible cutscenes involving Gerudos or Gorons. That beta rock thing with the Goron textures always made me think that maybe there was a cutscene involving that kid Goron when he was born or something... maybe a hidden cutscene about when Ganondorf captured Gorons to feed them to Volvagia? Iron Knuckles with the Gerudo heads in them started on getting me thinking that there's a cutscene before Nabooru gets brainwashed/captured by Twinrova that involves in the assimilation of elite Gerudos imprisoned in Iron Knuckle armor as Nabooru was... There's so much about URA that we just don't know... I mean, this beta restoration is fantastic! I just wonder what else there is... I'm sure if you compare cutscene assembly lines from a disassembler to various scenes in a zscene, you may find corrupted beta stuff that could be missing cutscenes...
  8. Well, I base it off information that I used to have (my notes got missing when I moved), but I do my own hex-hunt for the values... most of the hacks that are listed (minus the Gohma dropping after laying eggs) were found with a small tidbit of information I found that I repeated, which produces different results in Gohma, and can be applied to any actor. I'm not an assembly hacker, but I use a disassembler sometimes to compare values and commands if needed... however the disassembler wasn't too useful in certain scenarios; I use pure hex otherwise. Also: I had fun with the horses today... so to speak. XD UPDATE: Interesting results by making Gohma spawn HERSELF:
  9. They are, but especially without a sword... killing will still be possible, but any aerial enemies are out of the picture. Some ideas: - Floormaster (CRASH when dead... could get it working?) - Shell Blade - Angry/Attacking Cucco (this does NOTHING!!! *rage*) - Tektite (CRASH when dead... could get it working?) - Like Like (too much craziness, very slow) - Frezzard (meh...) - Running man (for sheer amusement, idk how he will function though..) - Horse (done) - Lizalfos (Doesn't come out of Gohma) - Shabom Any of these would work, but I might just do Horses or the Running Man anyways, but I need a definitive enemy to use with Gohma.
  10. So a few hacks involved: - Instant start - fall down immediately after laying/pooping Arwings (otherwise Gohma will be stuck up there) curtosy of Playtendo of Z64 group. - Funky eye color (random, I didn't choose) - Weird camera angles during death sequence & instant-disintegrate (both in one block of code changed (2 digits in hex)) - Hopefully will add more as I still have extras. Each hack uses only one block of code changed (2 digits), except for the dropping after laying eggs... that uses 4 digits. I am contimplating on whether I should keep the Arwings or not... Link will be swordless in the normal gameplay, and will not have a slingshot! I was thinking of Peahats, angry Cuccos, or Tektites... Redeads are not going to help since they're too slow, and I will HOPEFULLY get Iron Knuckles to drop Gold Skulltula tokens, so Gohma pooping out ik's is out-of-the-question.
  11. Wassup everyone? Some people will know me... I've been floating around the internet for some time, and found this forum! I've been looking for a good community for some Zelda stuff, and this is great! I'm making fast progress on some developments, and maybe have some theories to share. <3 I will also use my expertise to help any other projects if I come across any. (I'm usually pretty busy) Top-top! Although, maybe I can input a bit more about myself for those who don't know me so well: I'm a 25-year-old female, I am a beginner programmer and have been hacking off and on over the years. I'm obsessed with Ocarina of Time (no matter how much I try to get away from it... keeps comming back, lol). I enjoy fun and humor, I enjoy posting silly videos sometimes, especially my hacking blunders. I dunno, I find them still enjoyable even though I screw up on what I was aiming to do. XD Um... so yeah, I also enjoy a good challenge. Perhaps one of my big hurdles now is my unfamiliarity with Ocarina of Time, even though I do remember things in the game. Also, I haven't played a lot of Zelda titles (busy, not enough money, etc...), but I DO want to own and play Wind Waker someday. Well, anyways... now I'm trailing off. LoL! More things about me: I love DDR, raspberry smoothies (homemade, yummy), and comfy things! I have 2 cats, one of them I trained to give massages! XD Just extra useless info I threw in there if anyone cares... like I said, I'm here to help if I can!
