Kaze sighed, 'Second beast of this place and I'm more than nerve-wracked... great.'
-
"You as well." She hummed before heading to her home. Inwardly she wondered what the other had brought her, 'Hm...'
-
Ethan simply caught the water pokemon, utter confusion written all over his face. Cynder's eyes widened, "It is you! What the hell happened?!"
-
"Oh yes, very much." She smiled in return. "I really do appreciate it."
-
Ethan blinked in surprise and confusion at the pokemon. Cynder frowned, 'That voice... it... it can't be...'
-
Once the monster was distracted, Kaze grinned faintly before lunging to attack it.
-
Cynder blinked in surprise, "Oh? What a coincidence. That's the name of my trainer." Said trainer was still talking with the other trainer.
-
The fire type tilted his head, "Is that so? Who's he looking for?"
-
The monster circled them menacingly, keeping its shield up for a moment before lunging to attack. Kaze growled jumping back to avoid. 'Skeletons shouldn't be walking around like this!'
-
Meanwhile Ethan had been asking around to see if anyone had seen the silver-eyed teen anywhere. The negative responses made him give a weak smile but inside he was crumbling. He jolted as he was bumped into before the other spoke to him. "Ah... Not pokemon-wise, I don't think..." His gaze fell to the Totodiles, smiling despite himself, 'They remind me of Snappy...' Cynder kept an eye on both his trainer and the pokemon. Totodile? Here? That didn't seem right. "You don't look like you're from here..."
-
"Of course." Kaze hummed faintly before reaching up to pet Epona's nose gently, "I hope you're excited girl~ I know I am~"
-
'Oh joy...' She flinched faintly, 'Skeletons... just what we need...'
-
"Don't worry... things will turn out great. You'll see."
-
Shaking her head in fondness of the children, she bid them a farewell before heading off to the spring. More than likely that's where Ilia had taken Epona.
-
She bit her lip, tightening the grip on her weapons. 'Be prepared...'
-
"I'm sure you'll find him!" She piped, wings fluttering rapidly.
-
"There are a few doors... let's start with the one closest to the entrance and go from there."
-
"The truth?" The bug-type tilted her head the other way in curiosity.
-
Beth rested her hands on her hips, "You know I'd get in trouble for that! If you two want it, save up your allowances or something."
-
"That... didn't look good." Kaze frowned before glancing around. "I don't think we're going to get very far without finding those poes."
-
"I'm what humans call 'shiny'." The Butterfree told him, tilting her head. "I don't know why, I was just born like this."
-
The third child, this one a girl, rested on hand on her hip. "Talo, if you and Malo want it so badly, just buy it at my parents' shop!" Kaze chuckled softly as she listened to the children's banter.
-
She smiled faintly and entered with a quiet thank you before looking around, "..." Maybe it was just nerves... but it felt even worse inside the place and there was the feeling someone or something was watching them again.
-
The gold-eyed teen jolted as Cynder nudged him and blew a puff of smoke at him. He smiled wryly and reached out to stroke his fur, "Sorry buddy... I... I just don't know how much longer I can take this, y'know?"
-
Poking her head out the window, the dark haired girl grinned, "Be right there!" Ducking back in, she hurried to the door and went outside. Not a good idea to keep them waiting. Once outside, she hurried down the ladder and took in the sight before her. Well, she was definitely right about one thing. Her horse was gone yet again.
